Ilia Galán

Ilia Galán (Javier Díez Galán) (Miranda de Ebro-1966) is a poet, novelist, essay writer, columnist for La Tribuna (and other papers including Diario de Noticias, Diario de Burgos, Diario Palentino, Diario de Ávila, El Día de Valladolid, El País, ABC, etc), international correspondent, sales director, lecturer, and high school teacher in Valdemoro, Madrid, editor and founding member of the philosophy magazine Aula Cero, producer of the literary magazine Ahora, and contributor and honorary fellow at the Complutense Philosophy School and at the Carlos III University, in Madrid. He holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Navarra University, a B.A. in Journalism from Leioa University, and a Ph.D. in Art Theory from the Complutense University, Madrid (dissertation: Deus vel Ars sive Natura: Shelling.) Dr. Galán has also studied at Cambridge University in England, Perugia in Italy, and Boulogne-sur-Mer in France. Currently he is professor of Art Theory at the Carlos III University in Madrid and the Sorbonne University in Paris. He is the recipient of awards and grants from the Rich Foundation, the Spanish Government, and various universities.
