Aaron Siebert-Castiñeira

Born in the U.S. and brought up in Spain, Aaron Siebert-Castiñeira began composing piano music at an early age. He aspires to broaden his professional experience as he continues his studies in Composition and Piano in the U.S. At the age of 18, his interest in writing music for media has led him to have already composed music for TV and Internet commercials, videogames, websites and short films. He funded $8,000 of first year college tuition through commissions, for which he wrote and produced full orchestrations with just a computer. Last summer he was awarded an internship at Remote Control Productions, Hans Zimmer's film score company in Santa Monica, California. Aaron has written in several styles, ranging from orchestral to electronic music.

Kate Watkin

Kate Watkin is a composer and pianist. She is primarily interested in film scoring and writing for musical theater. In 2014 she won second prize at the Rochester 7th Annual Contest for Peace and Justice, an intercollegiate event including the RIT, the Eastman School of Music, and the University of Rochester, among many others. More recently, two of her commercials were finalists for the 2015 Elio commercial competition. Kate will spend this Spring working for Walt Disney in Florida. She also enjoys singing and video editing, as shown in the parody video below.

Jacob Brooks

From Saratoga NY, Jacob Brooks has been writing and recording since age 15. He has been song-writing and playing for the alternative rock band Better By Morning since 2014, with whom he has released two CDs. He is currently studying music business and composition at the Nazareth College of Rochester. His main interests include contemporary song-writing and writing for film and media, video games, and commercials. This year, two of his pieces won the Elio commercial competition. He is open to cross-genre projects and collaborations.

Ally Yanoff

From Pittsford NY, Ally Yanoff is a composer, pianist, singer, and flutist. She discovered her passion for music at the age of eight when her grandmother began to teach her how to play piano. From then on, she was performing in musicals, crafting her instrumental skills, singing in choir groups, and writing original lyrics and melodies. Ally is interested in composing for commercials, piano solos, orchestrations, song-writing, film scoring, choral pieces, and more.

Nick Deapo

Nick was born and raised in Liverpool, NY, a suburb of Syracuse. He began studying Suzuki violin at age 3 and also plays piano, ukulele, some guitar, and a variety of percussion instruments. He began composing music at the age of 5 and his first melody won the "Hey Mozart!" Young Composer Competition at Hartwick College. Nick is a BFA Musical Theatre major at Nazareth College where he also studies music composition. He enjoys writing for all genres of music, especially for film, plays, and musical theatre. Some of his vocal pieces and orchestral works were recently performed by local high schools, as was his renaissance score for the play, Cyrano. He also really enjoys contemporary songwriting, dubstep, and creating new sounds and styles of music.

Lincoln All

Lincoln All is the man. From the quaint town of Penfield, New York, Lincoln's love of music, production, as well as composition have been evident since his first drum pad at 9. Interested in film scoring, music for video games, On any given day, you might find Lincoln in his his home studio, out field recording, or Nazareth's new studio facility. Lincoln wants to pursue a career in production and composition, and plays and records with his band Rustle & Bromley, as well as various other side projects. Michael Wall

Hailing from Upstate New York, Mike Wall has a passion for music that has inspired him to pursue composition at Nazareth College of Rochester. He recently finished a project with an animation student at the Rochester Institute of Technology, which gave him his first experience collaborating with a filmmaker, and he plans to continue exploring this field. His piece Eta Carinae, for orchestra, was selected as the winner of the 1st Annual Nazareth College Composition Competition, and was premiered at their February concert in 2015. Mike is also currently finishing a work for the Nazareth College Wind Symphony, which will be premiered in February 2016. While much of his work is classically oriented, Mike is also a prolific jazz double bassist, and is currently producing an album of all-original jazz tunes, which will be released in 2016. Some samples of his music are available at the links below for your perusal.
